Backpacking Camp
(7th-12th Graders)

Loucon will be offering a backpacking camp for Jr. & Sr. High Campers. This camp is for campers will all levels of backpacking experience. During the camp, participants will learn how to pack and prepare for a multiple day backpacking experience. Our instructors will demonstrate proper techniques for equipment usage, meal preparation, living in the wilderness, caring for creation, and basic survival. Campers will spend time backpacking at Loucon, Mammoth Cave National Park, and possibly other locations. This camp will be a great opportunity to stretch and expand our backpacking knowledge and skills. It will provide lots of leadership opportunities, fun, and faith development! Must be active and open to life in the outdoors. ($250)
