We are called to live our lives with a love for God and a love for others.  This weekend we will examine what it means to live life in the guidelines of the Great Commandment with our:

·  Heart (affections)… how do we, as Christians, live differently than the world in showing love?

·  Soul (desires)… what do we pursue and go after?

·  Mind (attentions)… what are the things that we allow to distract us and how can we put those things aside?

·  Strength (energies and efforts [service]), what ways do we show our faith in action?

 

The focus of Youth Discipleship Retreat is to give us all practical ways to live daily as disciples of Jesus Christ. This retreat is not just a weekend to come have a good time and go home happy…but this weekend is designed to challenge and change your life!

 

We invite groups of all sizes to come – whether you have two, twenty, or two hundred you can enjoy what we have at YDR! We provide the program… your church provides the community.

 

The way we program the weekend…

4 Springboard Sessions providing opportunity for your group to be challenged for Christian discipleship living. We’ll give you the tools to begin discussions that will carry home. We will not split up your group – they will serve as your family group for the weekend and your leadership will know exactly what your students are thinking and struggling with!

 

Saturday afternoon we will have some planned activities to promote team building. At this time your group might be teamed with another group to make the numbers we need.

 

And we will have an awesome band to facilitate worship gatherings!

 

All of this is only $65/person. What you get: Two nights lodging, 4 meals (Saturday breakfast – Sunday breakfast), 4 Springboard Sessions with a speaker and band, 4 Family group times, and Saturday Team Building for your group… new this year – a YDR t-shirt for all participants!
