Orchard

If your group likes to get away from the world in a “low-tech” place, this is it. Constructed about 35 years ago, the simple Orchard Lodge is designed as a dining and meeting house for small groups staying in the cabins. The Kittinger Lodge can accommodate a meeting of around 35 persons. It has a small kitchen with sink, stove, refrigerator and cabinets, an outside grill, a small front porch and wood-burning, fans, but no air conditioning. There are chairs, round tables, electric outlets. A rock pathway enables vehicles to drive up the building to unload. Not too far away are the fire circle for campfires, the football and softball fields, swimming pool and other recreational activities. Although still rustic, over the years, several of the cabins have been winterized and electric heaters added. The 8 cabins sleep 10-12 in bunk beds. A central bathhouse is located amid the cabins and near the lodge. Can sleep in the Orchard area heated with space for 20 not heated.
